How far is the nearest beach from your Inn?

Our Inn is located in the heart of historic Lahaina town. While the ocean is only 200 steps away, the nearest beach is about 1 mile from our property. However, one of Maui’s best beaches is located less than 4 miles north of us and is home to our sister property, Ka’anapali Beach Hotel.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All guestrooms are designated Non-Smoking. In compliance with the Hawaii State Smoking Law, smoking is not allowed anywhere within our gated area. A designated smoking area is located at our rear parking area on Panaewa Street.

Is there public transportation available from the Plantation Inn?

Maui has recently implemented public transportation. The Maui Bus public transit service consists of 12 bus routes operated 7 days a week, including holidays. Check out their website at www.mauicounty.gov/bus for more information.

Does the Inn provide bell service?

The Inn does not have the staff to provide bell or valet service.

Are there elevators to get to the second floor?

There are only stairs that lead up to the second floor.

If I have a late flight departure after check out time, is there any place where I can freshen up?

The Ka’anapali Beach Hotel offers 1/2 hour appointments to use their Hospitality Room. The staff at The Inn can arrange a Hospitality room for guests, but you do need your own transportation to Kaanapali Beach Hotel.

Does the Inn provide a shuttle service to and from the airport?

While the Inn doesn’t provide a free shuttle service to and from the Kahului (OGG) airport, there are 2 shuttle companies that we frequently recommend for our guests. Prices are approximately $45 one way for one person and $50 one way for 2 persons. Please contact them directly at:
